Daniel Carlstenis a Swedish art director, graphic designer and illustrator commissioned by a wide and international group of brands.
Before starting his freelance career in 2009, Daniel was an art director at the creative collective Acne for five years, working in-house with their fashion label Acne Studios as well as with external clients of all sorts. His work is represented in the permanent collections of the National Museum of Art & Design in Stockholm and the Rööhska Museum in Gothenburg and he has won numerous design awards.
Daniel's visual world is best explained through his affection for minimalism and pop art, eliminating as much as possible until a punchy essence occurs. He has an art director’s conceptual view and a graphic designers keen eye to details. By balancing humor, warmth, sophistication and story telling, Daniel has so far attracted a diverse group of clients from fashion retail and interior design companies to real estate firms, restaurants and energy suppliers.
