Tim Tomkinson Illustrates What You Need To Know For Blue Point

Blue Point Brewing Company and Tim Tomkinson go way back–well, they go as far back as 2016, when they worked together on the lager-maker’s first national “Pride of Patchogue” campaign. (It poked fun at the relatively uneventful town their beer is brewed in.) This year, VSA Partners hired Tomkinson to continue the theme. Working with Creative Director Josh Witherspoon and Art Buyer Sari Rowe, he depicted sign painters in the act of recreating his own existing illustration of a hand lifting a beer bottle up in offering. Point being, you may not care about Patchogue, but you probably should care about what’s brewing there.

East Coasters can look for the resultant billboards around Manhattan; posters line train stations and trains along the Long Island Railroad. One gives riders the following tongue-in-cheek advice: “Patchogue is coming up. Unless you’re heading West. Then, it’s the other way.”
