Tim Tomkinson for Visit Jackson Hole: Otso Cycles Collaboration
Minneapolis agency Colle McVoy may have designed the Jackson Hole Travel and Tourism Board’s “Stay Wild” campaign in 2017, but it’s the infusion of local creatives and entrepreneurs like Tim Tomkinson and Otso Cycles that has kept the messaging alive to Wyoming visitors through Visit Jackson Hole’s campaign of the same name. The contours of a Voytek fat-tire bike, made for all-season adventuring, provided Tim with a canvas for his hand-painted illustrations of the native wildlife, plants, and elements of the natural landscape. The original bicycle was the prototype for a limited run of a vinyl-wrapped version. Visit Jackson Hole did two giveaway contests and an exhibition of the finished product, which also appeared in the Dec. 2018 issue of Outside magazine. Read more about the project here.
