Rebranding My Lobster | Rinee Shah for San Francisco’s Iconic Comedy Outfit

A red claw. Flowing locks—er, antennae. Rinee Shah’s lobster character is at the heart of each of the movie poster-style designs and social posts she created for San Francisco-based sketch comedy troupe Killing My Lobster, whose 2018 season will include such themes as “Honey, I Shrunk The Whites,” “Queering My Lobster,” and, because the fodder for funny is obvious, “#America.” Her rebrand rises to the occasion of KML’s 20-year-sharp wit and includes a reimagined logo, along with additional hand-drawn type. Of the new aesthetic, Shah says, it “helped establish Killing My Lobster's fun, fearless and hilarious brand.” See all her visuals for their 2018 season here.
