Elevating Instagram to an art is nothing new, but the platform’s Stories—which disappear after 24 hours á la Snapchat, and which have the attention of 250 million users and counting—are expected to be rougher around the edges. But that’s not always the approach polished brands like Fendi prefer. Once again, they’ve relied on the social acumen of Sky Pie Studios to create content as bespoke as their bags.
Inherent to stories is the unique opportunity for creative interaction as users tap through each new snippet. As Sky Pie founder Daniel Castro says of the recent commission, “we opened a portal into the zany worlds of the ‘Bag Bugs’—adorable furry charms that you can mix and match as an accessory to their luxury bags.
